CLUB NOTICE The rounders matched planned for Sunday 17 August at Buckabank, Dalston has had to be postponed due to the weather. We are hoping to reschedule for September. Club ties are available from Brian Wheatley on 07799222404 at £10 each. Brian also has a number of Border Fine Art bulls that can be painted in the colours you want contact Brian for further details. |
The Border Club has come a long way since its inaugural show and sale way back in September 1989. That first sale was held in conjunction with John Thornborrow & Co. Ltd and had a catalogued entry of 50 head, which included 18 bulls. The bulls sold to a top price of 1850 guineas and averaged £1341.66.
