Welcome to the Border British Blue Club web pages

Our club vigorously promotes the breed in a large stock-rearing area. We sponsor and organise many events throughout the north of England and southern Scotland, sponsor many store cattle show and sales, organise 2 calf shows as well as the Spring and Autumn sales at Carlisle Mart. Did I mention the social side?

Our most recent success has been our involvement in the Agri Expo at H&H Carlisle where we source 20 or so pedigree and cross bred cattle which in turn serves as the gateway to our open calf show that caught the attention and imagination of many visiting beef and dairy farmers on the day.

At our recent AGM we sold out, with all 100 tickets spoken for and an atmosphere you could not buy with guests coming from across the country.

Our man Wheatley and his team pulls together various raffles that raises £housands for local charities at the various club social events. Ah, the Social events………!

We are an active bunch who are always looking for more members to be part of our club, please talk to one of the team and get involved!
