British Blue Crosses Wipe the Board in Cornish Primestocks

Gail Ellis of the Trencrom Herd of British Blues at St Ives, has won the prestigious Royal Cornwall Show ‘Winter Prime Stock Show Points Competition’ with her entries at:-

Helston Primestock Show Champion won by ' Cool Dude 'a May 2011, British Blue x steer. Wadebridge Primestock Show Champion ' Ifs 'n Butts' a July 2011 British Blue x Heifer. Truro Primestock Reserve Champion 'Cool Dude.' - once again. ‘Rustic Lady’ Blue X Heifer also won two cups a the Helston Primestock Show Championship.

All these three British Blue x homebred animal went on to be sold to local butchers Robert Trevarthen and Chris Dale for £4.OO p/kg, £3.70p/kg & £3.60 p/kg; all three animals graded E3.

EBLEX BRP Winter 2012 Special
