2012 Photographic Competition

The British Blue Cattle Society is pleased to launch a 2012 photographic competition.

The British Blue Cattle Society is organising a photographic competition. Pictures can be either single portrait animal, or group of animals in their natural surroundings, with a British Blue link.

The judges will be Wayne Hutchinson & Heather Pritchard

PRIZES
1st – £100
2nd – £50
3rd – £25

A special award of up to £50 will be awarded for showing imagination, composition and for attracting breed promotion.

CONDITIONS
1. Entrants must be fully paid up members of the British Blue Cattle Society, or a member of their family and must not be from a professional photographer
2. Photographs are to be entered as 10 x 8 prints, taken at as high a resolution as possible. Entrants may submit any number of photographs, but every entry must be accompanied by a completed entry form
3. Photo’s supplied must be of your own work and must not be copies, or have been previously published
4. The Judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into
5. Copyright of all photographs remain with the photographer; however, in entering this competition you grant permission for the British Blue Cattle Society to use, publish, exhibit entries, without payment. Access to your original digital copy would be an advantage
6. No entries will be accepted without accompanying entry form and we regret that no photographs can be returned
7. Closing date for entries is 31st December 2012 and entries received after that date will not be accepted
