Perth Sale Tuesday 4th February 2003 Bidding was feverish for this springs offering of Belgian Blue bulls at Perth. The nine bulls averaging, a record for Perth, £2940. Judge Robert Johnston, Crumlin, Co Antrim, Northern Ireland, put up Newfield Superior ET, a son of Vireur De Somme, out of Black Moor Jade ET, as Champion. Superior was bred and exhibited by Douglas Shedden, Dundonald, Ayrshire. Forward from John & Janet Green, Ellon, Aberdeenshire was Oxcroft Timmy a son of Caprice De St Fontaine out of Kenray Magali ET, who took the Reserve Champion. Fast and furious bidding commenced with Tom Galligans Bramhall Supreme realising a very healthy 3,800 gns. Top priced animal was out of Graham Brindleys stable, Bringlee Teeman a son of Park Nigerian out of Bringlee Orville, this, the last offering of the day, rose to a leading price of 4,800 gns.
