WOODVIEW HERD PROVIDES EXACTLY WHAT
THE COMMERCIAL TRADE REQUIRES
WITH QUALITY CATTLE AND 100% CLEARANCE
Auctioneer, David Thomlinson, opened the 2nd Production sale, of the
Woodview Herd, of Andrew and Pamela Craig on Saturday 10th June 2006,
by drawing the attention of the packed ring, to the concentration and
dedication of the breeding of the Woodview Herd, with the focus on providing
exactly what the commercial market required, with high meat yield, combined
with growth stature and quality loins.
The success of this focused approach was truly evident in the subsequent
sale, where there was a 100% clearance of the 60 lots forward.
The leading price went to lot 27 “Woodview Uni ET” an October ’02

Society Secretary, John Fleming commented ‘It was pleasing to see
such a tremendous interest, from both the Pedigree and commercial sectors,
from all over the UK, in the quality genetics on offer at this sale.
The animals on show were a true credit, not only to the skilful breeding
of the vendor, Andrew Craig, but also to the breed in general. ‘
