Thainstone Spectacular - Aberdeen

Picking up the overall unhaltered championship at the 2006 Spectacular were A. & J. Nairn, Clashnoir, Braes of Glenlivet, Ballindalloch with a 382kg Belgian Blue cross heifer by Dompture Et De Fooz. The home-bred champion was bought for £1,600 on behalf of R. J. Wright, Somerset and Alastair Nairn (left) is pictured receiving the Dr Cooper Perpetual Rosebowl from David Douglas, head of rural business with Spectacular sponsor Clydesdale Bank.
